Back with a BANG! Tattoos and Animations!

Hey everyone! I’m back from my holidays and what a great 2 weeks it was! Spent most of it shopping and working on a farm. I think the shopping was more tiring than the farm, THIS GIRL CAN SHOP!

So to start off the blogging, I have found a great animation channel. It comes under the name of ‘Oney’s Video Hole’ and the video which I believe is THE most hilarious is called ‘Thor n’ Loki’ – I almost had a cardiac arrest from laughing so much. The cartoon characters really look like Thor and Loki, which is great because Loki is FIIIIIINE! I never thought a cartoon character could be so good looking.

The next YouTube channel I have found is called ‘Ink’ and has been described as YouTube’s home for everything tattoo. I loved watching shows like LA Ink – being able to create amazing pieces of art on someones skin is amazing. I’ll let you into a little secret – I have a tattoo. But it’s not as amazing as something that Kat Von D can create; it’s a tiny star on me left hand. I only got it because I wanted to see what it felt like to get a tattoo! I sat through the whole 5 minutes swearing – I’ve got the worst pain threshold EVER.

So if your fascinated in the whole tattoo thing or your looking for some ideas, then ‘Ink’ is definitely a channel to subscribe too. It has little snippets from all the major tattoo programmes, including tutorials on how to look after your tattoo and picking your first tattoo – maybe I would’ve watched that one first!

The ultimate DIY Fashion channel!

Here is another great channel I’ve found for us girls. This girl is a total life saver when it comes to fashion and make-up!

Her name is Marzia (for those of you who have watched PewDiePie, you may recognize her) but she also comes under the name of CutePieMarzia. Her channel is 100% dedicated to DIY fashion fixes, make-up tutorials and some great outfit ideas for all occasions. Her latest DIY video was based on ‘Magic Cage Bag’ which looks super cute – if I had the patience and the artist streak like she does, I would totally make one! However, I have the imagination of a fish, so I’ll leave it to you guys!

How to be an awesome YouTuber

I’m gunna break the routine a little today. I’ve decided to come up with a list of tips, to help you guys become an amazing  awesome YouTuber.

  1. Know your competition – If you’ve come up with an idea that’s already been done before, try and think of how you can make it different. See what your up against!
  2. Be interactive – advertise your video so that people who normally watch videos based on the one your creating will instantly click on it. Ask for any comments and suggestions as your video will definitely benefit from the increased traffic from the comments.
  3. Be consistent – don’t create a video and then forget about the channel for months on end. You have to be consistent, otherwise your audience will ditch you. Try uploading a video maybe once a week.
  4. Don’t make your videos too long – you don’t want your audience to get bored to click the ‘back’ button, do you?
  5. Gain some confidence – don’t let bad comments put you down. Just learn from your mistakes and try again!
  6. It’s all about the description! – fill it up! Use as much keyword-rich information as you can, otherwise, people can’t find you.
  7. Use playlists – this will help group together your videos. It makes them so much easier to find!
  8.  Customise your channel – make it eye-catching. Don’t use clashing colours either – there’s nothing more irritating than having to squint.
  9. Use good software and devices – try and use a good quality webcam and microphone, so we can hear and see you properly! Also, if your dedicated, shop around for the best software . It’ll help you get the best results.
  10. See what sticks – have a look at similar YouTube channels to see what people like and don’t like.
